The two small mirrors are placed back-to-back on the sheet of glass, one mirror-side up, the other down. A pedagogical slide, located between the small mirror and the glass, is projected downwards, reflected in the large mirror, in a mise en abīme which gives the illusion of a hole cut into the floor.
